- What does the protected character preview show?
A watermarked, low-resolution character portrait in a secured review viewer. That is the only pre-purchase artwork ever shown.
- Why is the preview watermarked?
The watermark protects the surprise for the recipient and helps prevent unauthorized redistribution of the character conversion before purchase.
- Can screenshots be completely prevented?
No. We're honest about that. We use watermarking, low-resolution previews, and access controls to reduce misuse but we cannot fully prevent screenshots.
- Why are full book pages not previewed before purchase?
Every generated page uses expensive image work. Showing pages pre-purchase would let a small number of people extract full books without paying, which would make personalized books unaffordable for the rest.
- How many character changes are included?
Every book plan includes a fair set of included revisions to fine-tune each approved character. The current allowance is shown inside your project.
- What counts as a customer-requested revision?
A revision is a re-render of a character based on your requested change to hair, clothing, accessories, expression, mobility aids, or other visible features.
- Can a character be removed?
Yes. You can remove a character before you approve the cast.
- Can approved characters be reused?
Yes. Approved characters are saved to your Character Vault (account required) so future books can reuse the same cast without re-uploading photos.
- What is the Character Vault?
The Character Vault holds the approved characters from your past projects so you can start a new adventure without re-uploading photos or re-approving looks.
