Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We design UrKidsBook to be usable by every adult buyer and to represent every child faithfully.

Standards we target

  • WCAG 2.2 AA across public marketing, checkout, review viewer, and account surfaces.
  • 44×44px minimum touch targets on primary actions.
  • Keyboard-operable interfaces with visible focus states.
  • Respect for user preferences: reduced motion, text scaling to 200%, and safe-area insets on native shells.
  • Screen-reader labels on icon-only controls and image previews.

Character representation

Our character pipeline preserves accessibility features — mobility devices, prosthetics, wheelchairs, hearing devices, and other visible features — exactly as you approve them. Representation is a design constraint, not a decorative option.

Reporting barriers

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email accessibility@urkidsbook.com. Include the page URL and a short description of the issue.
