Terms of Use

Adult-directed service

UrKidsBook is an adult-directed service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Adults purchase and manage every project on behalf of a child. UrKidsBook is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Combined acceptance

By checking the combined acceptance box at account creation, guest cast start, or guest checkout, you agree to these Terms of Use, acknowledge the Privacy Policy, confirm you are 18 or older, and confirm you have the rights and permissions described in "Customer warranties" below. Marketing consent is separate and optional.

Customer warranties

By submitting content to UrKidsBook, you represent and warrant that:

• Ownership or license. You own, or have a valid license or permission to use, every photograph, image, likeness, name, and other material you upload.
• Guardian permission. For every minor identifiable in the material, you are the parent or legal guardian, or you have obtained explicit permission from the parent or legal guardian for the material to be used to create the ordered UrKidsBook product.
• No unlawful content. The material does not depict abuse, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or otherwise unlawful content, and does not violate any third-party right (including publicity, privacy, trademark, and copyright).
• No sensitive identifiers. You will not upload government identifiers, financial account numbers, or protected health information.
• Authority to bind. You have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of any household member whose likeness you submit.
• Accurate contact details. Your contact information is accurate and monitored so we can complete the order and respond to any takedown or safety notice.

Breach of any warranty is grounds for cancellation, refund denial (where permitted), takedown, and referral to law enforcement where legally required.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass character approval, preview protection, or entitlement controls.
• Do not submit content that infringes intellectual property or violates law.
• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship to a child.

Content, personalization, and ownership

You retain rights to reference photos you upload. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the personalized keepsakes we deliver for personal, non-commercial family use. UrKidsBook retains rights in the underlying stories, artwork templates, models, and platform. We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models.

Biometric processing

UrKidsBook does not perform identity verification, facial recognition, or persistent biometric enrollment. See the AI Use & Image Disclosure for details on how reference photos are used.

Service changes

We may modify or discontinue features. We will not remove your delivered digital files without notice.

Disclaimers, liability cap, and dispute resolution

UrKidsBook is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UrKidsBook's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of amounts you paid to UrKidsBook in the 12 months preceding the claim and US $100. Individual claims only; class actions, class arbitrations, and jury trial are waived to the extent permitted by law. Send disputes to support@urkidsbook.com; a 30-day informal resolution window applies before formal proceedings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which UrKidsBook is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a customer resides in a jurisdiction where such a clause is unenforceable.
