Scope
This policy explains how UrKidsBook collects, uses, stores, and deletes information in connection with our personalized keepsake service. UrKidsBook is intended for adult buyers acting on behalf of a child; it is not directed to children who act independently.
Information we collect
- Account information — email, hashed password, and optional profile details.
- Order and payment information — order details, shipping address, and payment status via our commerce provider. We do not store card numbers.
- Project content — uploaded reference photos, character prompts and adjustments, product selections, and generated preview and delivery assets.
- Support communications — messages sent to us and related metadata.
- Technical logs — pseudonymous access and error logs used to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To create the character preview, generate the products you order, and deliver keepsakes.
- To provide account, order, and support functionality.
- To detect fraud and abuse and to protect the service and its users.
- To comply with legal obligations.
What we do not do
- We do not use customer photos to train third-party AI models.
- We do not publish customer children, generated pages, or private prompts.
- We do not sell personal information.
Children's content
UrKidsBook processes photos and creative content that relate to a child at the direction of an adult. You must have permission to submit any photo of a child. See our Photo Permission statement.
Sharing
We share limited information with providers that operate the service: authentication and storage (Supabase), commerce (Shopify), print fulfillment (Lulu), model inference (Google Gemini), email delivery (Resend), and abuse protection (Turnstile). Providers process data on our instructions.
Retention & deletion
Retention windows are detailed in our Data Retention & Deletion Policy. You may request deletion at any time.
Security
We use row-level security, private storage, signed short-lived URLs, and server-side processing for sensitive actions. See Security & Privacy.
